Much Deserved Thanks to Everyone that has helped me…

There have been some cool developments for me recently. Sometimes I get so worked up I feel like im on a different planet. Then I take a deep breath, and try get back to earth. Here is what grounds me. You guys. I have so many supporters, so many people that have helped me, that I just feel really blessed and really lucky. As thanks I thought Id write a list of things that I promise to do in honor of the people that have helped me. “because the world owes me nothing, and we owe each other the world” -Ani DiFranco

1. Really and truly evaluate my intentions. Sometimes in the music business its easy to put yourself up on a pedestal. I try to help all the musicians around me, but I need to start asking myself, why. Is it because you really support this person? Do you really believe in them? Or do you think they are going somewhere and I want to have a connection with them for the future? Intention is everything, and if thats skewed then there is not much that will help.

2. Make a conscious effort to help the planet out . I intend to use less paper products, and stick to eating as much local produce as possible.

3. Attempt to slow down and be a better listener. I get wound so tight that it seems impossible to really hear and absorb a person’s story, and thats not good either. I must slow the mind and remember the earth revolves around the sun, not little ole me…

4. Be less afraid. Stick to the truth, and give people the respect of being honest. I want people to know exactly where they stand with me, no hidden agendas, no fear of losing a friendship or “connection”. It isn’t a real connection if its based upon fear anyway.

This I will try to do to the best of my ability, and if you catch me acting otherwise… Let me know
